We understand the power of social networking and see the potential for it to be a force for good. The Inukshuk social network is designed to give people at the grassroots level a powerful tool for making change in their communities and helping youth at risk today. We want to empower you to identify the areas of need that affect your community most and find ways to meet those needs. One of our goals is to make sure that you have a say in how you build a better future for your children and for those who need a helping hand in every community across Canada.

Action

Change only begins when we decide to act together to make it happen. At the Inukshuk Foundation, we want to work to fill the gaps in education in communities across Canada. Our initiatives offer concrete ways to improve the experiences of youth both in the classroom and beyond it.

Play Hard to Study Harder

Research has shown time and again that children who get involved in organized sports earn better grades in school, feel a greater sense of achievement, build stronger connections, and are more likely to attend college or university. Yet children from lower-income families are less likely to have the opportunity to participate in organized sports.

The Inukshuk Foundation believes in giving children from disadvantaged communities a chance to excel by putting them back in the game. Through initiatives like the Inukshuk Fields and sponsorships for individual children we want to give young people the chance to flourish and reach their full potential.
